Vintage unused estate item. This is a machine embroidered square table topper / tablecloth by Rolande du Dreuilh of France. Their wares are hard to find in this country and expensive when new. This cafe cloth features brilliant red poppies in each corner and makes a striking display. The company is a traditional embroidery and lace house located in a small village in the Limousin region, near Limoges. The cloth is 100% polyester linen which means it will wash well, be wrinkle resistant and easier to remove stains if they should happen.

Condition: Excellent. I examined it carefully in natural light and in the light box and I do not see any stains/marks. Unfortunately it is very hard to photograph. The grain of the fabric comes across as dark lines.

I shop the fine estate sales and auctions in the horse country of north Georgia, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and bring them to you, the beholder.

    I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality.
