Harrison Begay, also known as Haashke yah Niya(meaning warrior who walked up to his enemy or wandering boy ).  ( Nov. 15, 1914 or 1917 - Aug. 18, 2012).   Begay specialized in watercolors, gauche and screen silk prints. At the time of his death, he was the last living former student of Dorothy Dunn and Geronima C Montoya at the Santa Fe Indian School.   In the mat this picture measures approximately 9 3/4 by 10 1/2 inches.

Hello! My name is Kim and I am originally from Minnesota but have since exchanged the cold weather for the sunny climate of Arizona! I have always had a great love and appreciation for vintage and antique items, and learning more about their makers, history, and use. I successfully passed this love to my daughter, and my husband also helps with this operation.  While I am starting to part with my some of collection, I also love to find and “rehome” these beautiful treasures to be enjoyed. Pleasure to meet you all!
