Stunning Large Chinese Famille Rose Bowl featuring the Rose Medallion pattern . This spectacular bowl is handpainted depicting a colorful vibrant scene of a courting couple, landscape with florals and butterflies. It is in very good condition considering it’s age. It is marked with 4 characters known as the Reign mark. This mark indicates a specific imperial period during which it was crafted.

Please note there is one hairline crack in the bowl - see pictures. This bowl was likely made in the 1970s per research however it might be older. Famille Rose is a type of Chinese porcelain known for its colorful decorations featuring pink overglaze enamel as a dominant color. The term Famille Rose is a French term for “pink family” that Western collectors used to describe this style.
