Antique Stanley-Marsh No. 400 Cast Iron Mitre Vice - Tilts & Swivels, 1930's

A Good Minus Stanley-Marsh No. 400 Mitre Vice. It has the blue and orange finishes that stanley used in the 1930's just after they bought this and other tool designs from Marsh. It is 100% complete, though the hinge screw is an original replacement part from another No. 400. It functions exactly as it should with moderate wear in the finish, but no damage. Great for assembling mitre joints and has a provision allowing the user to make the final "matched" mitre cut for fitting mitre joints. It tilts and swivels to aid in nailing the mitre joint closed.
