Sweet Antique ceramic pitcher with cranberry transferware decoration, from the 19th century. Wears a Romantic transfer print design with a castle and a charming pastoral scene. Made in England before the 1890 act that required imported goods to be labeled clearly with their country of origin.

Stands 6 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide spout to handle, and 3.75 inches across at the belly.
