Condition:
There are no cracks or chips to the pottery. There IS some wear to the Gold paint and a few spots where the glaze popped during firing (see photos). There is Crazing to this piece.
Description: Maurice of California Pottery was founded by Maurice Pechman, an Auschwitz Concentration Camp Survivor, who immigrated to the United States in 1950. Maurice of California Pottery is known for it's MCM asthetic, vibrant colors, and abstract designs. Identification of the piece is authenticated by the Mold Letters that are imprinted on the base of the piece. The mold letter indicates the mold used, the line number indicates the individual piece.
