Details
Vinyl plays with some crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; scuffing (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (A&M records); one seam partially split. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with wear and thatching. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Hey Jude, by Beatles, released in the United States in August 1968, is a compilation of singles and B-sides not previously included on American albums, showcasing the band's versatility during their prolific 1960s era. It includes tracks from 1966 to 1968, capturing a transitional period in their sound, blending pop, rock, and experimental elements. Historically significant for its role in bridging the band's earlier pop hits with their more mature, eclectic work, it was released during a time of global social upheaval, resonating with audiences through its emotional depth. The title track, Hey Jude, became a global hit single, reaching No. 1 in multiple countries and known for its uplifting message and iconic sing-along outro. Other notable hit singles include Revolution, a politically charged rock anthem, and Lady Madonna, a piano-driven classic that also charted highly.
