The Jones Point Lighthouse is located in Alexandria, Virginia, on the Potomac River. It was built in 1855 and is a small, square-shaped lighthouse attached to a keeper's house. It was decommissioned in 1926. It marks the southern terminus of the original District of Columbia boundary line. Signed 1998.
