Vinyl plays with crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; scuffing, discoloration (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (Motown ads); two seams partially split. Spine is mostly readable with noticeable wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners; small split on bottom edge. Opening shows signs of use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Reflections, by Diana Ross and the Supremes, released in 1968, marked a pivotal moment for the group as it was their last studio album featuring the classic lineup with Florence Ballard before her departure. The album showcased a sophisticated blend of Motown pop and soul, with lush orchestrations and a slight psychedelic influence, reflecting the evolving musical landscape of the late 1960s. It included the hit singles Reflections, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became an iconic Motown anthem, and In and Out of Love, which peaked at No. 9. Historically significant, Reflections was one of the first albums to use electronic effects like the Moog synthesizer, adding a futuristic sheen to the title track. The album solidified the Supremes’ status as Motown’s premier act while capturing a transitional phase in their career.
