About The Record:

The Album is the debut album by Donny Osmond. It was released when Osmond was 13 years of age. It was produced by Rick Hall, who was also responsible for most of the arrangements. The album features one single, the Billy Sherrill-Rick Hall written lead-off track Sweet & Innocent. That song peaked at No. 7 on the US pop charts (subsequently receiving an RIAA gold certification on August 30 of that year), and pushed the album housing it to No. 13 in the U.S. (further up to No. 2 in Canada). It's also notable for featuring Osmond's cover of the Everly Brothers hit Wake Up, Little Susie. The album is RIAA-certified gold (it reached that sales certification on December 13, 1971).
