Details
Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners, developing split on center top. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars, by Edie Brickell, is the debut album by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, blending folk, pop, and alternative rock with a laid-back, jangly sound. The album’s introspective lyrics and Brickell’s distinctive vocals captured a unique vibe, resonating with the late-’80s college radio scene. It achieved commercial success, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, driven by the hit single What I Am, which reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a defining anthem of the era. Another notable single, Circle, also gained moderate radio play. The album’s organic sound and critical acclaim marked it as a significant release in the alternative rock movement of the late 1980s.
