Details

Fostoria "Heather" etch, tumbler glasses on an ornate beaded foot. This etch was introduced in the 1940s and retired in 1971. This set includes one iced tea / beverage footed tumbler which holds 12 oz (they made a matching juice glass that are smaller) and one champagne/sherbert coupe. The pattern features delicate flowers and leaves in a lacy arrangement. These are an attractive flared 16 panel optic shape. You can tell the quality of the glass by its beautiful clarity and sparkle. These are marked with the Fostoria name etched on the base. I have other glasses in this pattern listed so please check my other listings.

Etched glass involved some degree of hand finishing in the creation process and was expensive to buy when new. These are striking pieces for water, iced tea or your favorite beverage.

Size: iced tea - 6 1/8" h x 3.5" w, holds 12 oz.
champagne - 4" w x 5" h

Condition*: Excellent condition, no cloudiness in the glass. No chips or cracks.

Shipping: Flat discount USPS ground advantage insured to save you $$, if you need priority or express shipping please contact me prior to purchase.

A Thing of Beauty Vintage Finds

    Selling since November 2023

Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here.

I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them.

Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours.

Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items.

Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia
