Vtg Paper Maché Three Wise Men Nativity Statues Set Hand Painted Gold '60 Japan

Pre-owned Condition: Good vintage condition overall with some light surface wear. One figure has a noticeable chip/flaw to the back (see close-up photo for detail). Paint shows some wear consistent with age. One King has the missing metal cup for the candle on top of head. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.

This is a set of three vintage nativity figurines depicting the Three Wise Men/Kings, made in Japan. Each statue features intricate hand painted facial details and ornate gold and metallic robes. They each hold one of the traditional gifts: myrrh, frankincense, and gold. The set is marked "Made in Japan" on the bottom.

Approximate height of each figure is 11 inches (see ruler photos for scale). Each statue is slightly different in shape and detail, with decorative patterns wrapping around the robes and backs.

Sculpted with hollow interior bases as shown in photos.

Perfect for nativity scene displays, Christmas decor, or collectors of vintage holiday items.
