Details
This is a stunning two-tier peachy pink lustre serving dish with a top handle, identified as carnival glass, likely made by Jeannette Glass Company. This type of glassware is known for its iridescent, rainbow-like finish, achieved through the application of metallic salts during the manufacturing process. Carnival glass, including pieces made by Jeannette, was often machine-made, distinguishing it from earlier, hand-finished classic carnival glass. Jeannette Glass produced iridescent glassware from the 1920s, with some lines continuing into the 1970s. The "Anniversary" pattern, produced by Jeannette Glass, was initially introduced in clear and pink in 1947, with the iridescent finish added in the 1960s. These types of dishes are used for serving snacks, desserts, or as decorative centerpiece.
It stands at 10” with the larger bowl at 9” and smaller top bowl at 5”.
