Details
Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; scuffing, surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (Picture/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Built To Last, by Grateful Dead, released in 1989, was their thirteenth and final studio album, marking the end of their studio recording career before Jerry Garcia's death in 1995. The album, produced by Jerry Garcia and John Cutler, featured a polished sound with a mix of rock, folk, and blues, reflecting the band's evolution while maintaining their signature improvisational spirit. Historically significant as their last studio effort, it captured a band grappling with aging and changing musical landscapes, yet still delivering cohesive songwriting. The album spawned the hit single Foolish Heart, which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, and Just a Little Light, both showcasing the band's ability to craft accessible, radio-friendly tracks. Despite mixed critical reception, the album remains a notable chapter in the Grateful Dead's legacy for its attempt to blend their live energy with studio refinement.
