Forged in flame and smoke, this 12-inch Raku dish was created to capture a piece of the sky.
Legend tells of a potter who sought to hold sunlight even after dusk. She shaped midnight clay into a wide gathering circle and placed it into the ancient Raku fire. When it emerged, the surface held scattered stars, glowing embers, and rings of golden light like small suns in orbit.
When held to the light, the dish reveals its hidden warmth, as if it still remembers the moment it was born from fire.
Today, the Helios Halo is meant for gathering and sharing… a celestial circle for treats, treasures, or moments worth celebrating.
