All for the Love of Sunshine, by Hank Williams, Jr., released on MGM Records, featuring collaborations with producer Mike Curb and the Mike Curb Congregation. The title track, All for the Love of Sunshine, co-written by Curb, Harley Hatcher, and Lalo Schifrin, became Williams Jr.'s first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in September 1970, marking a pivotal moment in establishing his own identity apart from his father, Hank Williams Sr. The album reflects Williams Jr.'s early 1970s transition, blending pop-country and gospel influences before his later outlaw country persona emerged. It includes covers of his father's songs, such as You Win Again and Your Cheatin' Heart, reinforcing the family legacy in country music. While All for the Love of Sunshine also gained pop crossover appeal, with Elvis Presley covering it, no other singles from the album achieved significant chart success.
