Details
Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover has scuffing, some creasing near edges, surface impressions (front/back). Original inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read with wear near bottom. Shelf-wear along bottom/top-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Eyes That See in the Dark marks Barry Gibb's third production project of the 1980s outside of The Bee Gees. Gibb wrote most of the songs on the album. At first, Islands in the Stream was not a duet, but Rogers was not happy with the recording, only after Dolly Parton recorded the song as a duet did the song take off. It became a major hit, reaching No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the country charts; it turned out to be the No. 1 song of 1983. Elsewhere on the album is Buried Treasure (No. 3 country) and This Woman, which reached the top 20 on both the Billboard Hot 100 pop and country charts.
