Approx.2.75” tall “Peint Main” translated from French is “Painted Hand” or Hand Painted This piece made in France is a very RARE find Beautiful rich and bright colors! These pieces originated from the late 1700’s Longwy Art Deco French Ceramic Vase Longwy is a town in France known for its unique tradition of enameled ceramics, particularly in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras. Unlike traditional Chinese cloisonné which uses metal bands, Longwy developed a method of creating deep lines in the clay surface to form outlines, which are then filled with rich enamel colors before firing. Longwy pieces are often characterized by their vibrant colors, particularly cobalt and turquoise, and a distinctive crackle finish (craquele). Characteristics of the Art Deco period, including its shape and the use of contrasting colors and possibly geometric patterns. This piece could possibly be antique (100+ years old)! I found one in my search and it is posted for $125
