Ambidextrous! There are loops at the bottom of the bag on both the right and left side so that the strap can move and clip to whichever side you need it to be on. There are side pockets and water bottle holders on both sides, although the key clip is only on the one side. The front compartment opens from both sides as well.

This is an awesome compact daily carry if you don’t have a large laptop. It holds up to 14” which was fine for me.

It’s a really versatile bag with multiple access points and pockets. The front panel opens all the way so you can access anything in the bag without unrolling the top. The zippers for that compartment are PU coated but they open super smooth with big easy to grab loop zip pulls. When you do need extra capacity, the roll-top secures with a nice fidlock buckle so it’s fast to open and close and you get more than the listed 16 L in that mode. I really liked having that compact size but room for expansion when running errands! There’s a hidden pocket against your back you could put a passport in if you are traveling with this as a personal item.

Besides all of the useful outside pockets that make it east to grab things on the go, the inside of the front panel has a zipped water resistant pouch which is handy. The rest of the inside is pretty basic with a document or tablet pouch and room to stack things. Behind that is a padded laptop compartment with dedicated access via a water resistant top zipper. The back is mesh and breathable, the strap is padded and comfortable.

I would love to keep using this, but I am a very small person and on the tightest setting, the strap is still loose for me and with the bag pulling away, my back ends up hurting by the end of my half hour walk to work. It was great when my walk was shorter, if I could just tighten it all the way it would be fine.
