Sharpened #3 (1/4in) Ohio Tool Co. iro. One of the washers is a tiny bit larger than the other. I don't know if it's a replacement or poor QC at Ohio Tool, but it's nearly imperceptible and just as functional as the smaller one.
The Ohio Tool Company was one of America's largest planemaking firms, active from 1851 until the early 1920s. They used convict labor from their founding until the 1890s. According to a company official in the 1870s, so-called "fancy planes," like plow planes, were not made in prison.
