Condition: There is some wear to the paint. There is some staining to the ceramic on the inside of the dish and the bottom. There are no cracks or chips (see photos for details).
Description: This earthenware dish was designed by Ralph E. Chuck in 1939 and were often promotional incentives with the purchase of a Westinghouse refrigerator. They were designed to conveniently store leftovers before the widespread use of plastic. This dish features an orange color in a sleek, stylized design with horizontal lines and a tiered base characteristic of the Art Deco Era. The lid has a U shaped handle.
