Artist : Brad Jesson Stratford, ON Canada. Brad began working with flame worked glass in January, 2008 and has practiced his art on a full time basis since February, 2010. He is completely self-taught and learned his art through books, videos, internet glass forums and participation in the Art Glass Invitational in Pennsylvania. Brad creates both functional and non-functional pieces including marbles, vases, pendants and sculpture. Brad is especially attracted to working with borosilicate (‘hard glass’) flame working because this type of glass is still very much in its infancy leaving room for growth and exploration. Brad continues to participate in various exhibitions and art sales in South-Western Ontario.
