I Couldn't Live Without Your Love (89 Mix) (12" Single), by Petula Clark, released in 1989, features a remix of her 1966 hit track from the album of the same name, reimagined with extended dance mixes to appeal to late-1980s club audiences. Originally penned by Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent during their extramarital affair—which inspired the song's passionate lyrics—this remix version includes the '89 Mix (clocking in at around 6:58) alongside the standard edit and B-side "Call Me ('89 Mix)," marking a nostalgic revival of Clark's signature pop sound. Historically, the original single was a key part of Clark's mid-1960s transatlantic success, following her breakthrough Downtown and solidifying her status as the first UK female artist to top the US Billboard Hot 100 since 1964. The 1989 release underscores the enduring legacy of 1960s pop through remix culture, bridging generational gaps in dance music. The standout hit single is the titular I Couldn't Live Without Your Love, which peaked at No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 43 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1966.
