Purple & Cobalt Blue Blown Studio Art Ripple Glass Vase Signed Jon Offutt 2005

Stunning handblown studio art glass vase in amethyst purple and cobalt blue, with rippled glass swirls cascading from the neck of the vase.

This piece of art was created and signed by artist Jon Offutt of House of Mulciber in Fargo, ND. He has been blowing glass for more than 25 years. His work is in the collections of the Plains Art Museum, North Dakota; Rourke Art Museum, Minnesota; Polk Museum of Art, Florida; Art Museum of Southeast Texas; Kentucky Art and Craft Foundation; Southern Illinois University; and Alamance County Arts Council, North Carolina.

The vase measures 6.5” tall - it has a small manufacturing flaw near the top of the vase with some missed polishing, it almost looks like fingerprints, but no chips, cracks or damage. I have taken a close-up of the area. It has minor scuffs on the underside from moving across a table or shelf, and very minor scuffs near the base.
