Details
Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Gate-fold cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/back/inner-gate). Inner-sleeve is original (Lyrics). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along side-edges and corners; developing split in center of right-side. Top opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Queen II, by Queen, released in March 1974, is the second studio album by the British rock band, showcasing their evolving sound with intricate harmonies, layered instrumentation, and theatrical flair. The album is notable for its conceptual structure, divided into "Side White" and "Side Black," reflecting contrasting themes and influences, with Freddie Mercury and Brian May contributing most of the songwriting. It marked a significant step in Queen's artistic development, blending progressive rock with heavy metal and glam elements, setting the stage for their later commercial breakthroughs. Historically, Queen II is recognized for its bold experimentation and for introducing Queen's signature multi-tracked vocal harmonies, which became a hallmark of their style. The album included the hit single Seven Seas of Rhye, which reached No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Queen's first chart success.
