This amazing find was made in Israel and is stamped in English and Yiddish - I think. At first I thought the center might be Amber, but after the black light test failing, I tried 409 which produced positive results for Bakelite.
There is some silver in the brooch but not enough to call it silver. Because of its origins I suspect a maker with German influence, it looks German made, and is probably “German Silver” which is only partially silver usually mixed with zinc, nickel, and tin.
Measures about 2” x 1.75” - tested with 409. In VGVC may need some cleaning
