I brought this rare beauty back from my visit to Sweden Handblown decanter is a light lime / peridot green-color (in the pictures it has a yellow tint that is not present in natural light, but it does glow yellow under a 365n blacklight) Featuring a slightly tapered bulbous body with a ribbed bottom and pinched top Most of the crackle is present on the bottom half of the cruet and the ball on the stopper Ground ball stopper was custom made for this piece Matching applied clear green handle with polished pontil mark on bottom About an 18 ounce / 2-1/4 cup capacity Dates around the 1940s (Trelleborg Glasbruk 1919-1955) Partial original sticker label for Trelle Borg Glasbruk is intact Measures overall about 9" tall including stopper x 3-5/8" wide x 4" long including handle Measures about 7-3/4" tall without stopper Weighs about 1 pound 5 ounces
Overall, good to very good vintage condition with mild signs of age/use/wear including dings on the stopper and possibly the cruet bottom (could be from production). Hand blown glass so expect minor imperfections to include tiny bubbles, a couple of stray crackle lines at the neck, tool marks and the bottom of the stopper looks cracked but is not.
Please examine the pictures carefully as this will be the exact item you receive. Please note that these pictures were taken extremely close-up, so some flaws may be exaggerated or invisible to the naked eye.
