Red Wing Bob White Bird Appetizer Centerpiece

Talk about a unique centerpiece! This piece is a sculptural Bob White bird, a common species of quail, with 31 toothpick-sized holes on its back for serving hors d'oeuvres. 

This is a part of Red Wing's very collectible Bob White pattern, manufactured in the 50s-60s.

Marked "Red Wing USA" and in excellent vintage condition with one flaw on tail that appears as a chip but looks to be fully glazed, so perhaps happened in production.
