This is a vintage Rosenthal Studio Line glass bowl designed by Zsofia Kanyak. It is made of heavy, clear glass with a textured "hammered" surface. The design, featuring unique side openings, is often referred to as "spun glass" or a "yarn bowl" (due to the openings). Kanyak was a Hungarian designer who worked for Rosenthal from 1967 until her death in 1975. Rosenthal is a renowned German manufacturer of luxury household goods, known for its quality crystal and porcelain.
