Unusual & uncommon form by Sandy Vitarelli (1940-2010), Hawaii, Sgrafitto pottery stoneware pitcher / vase. Clay is a golden color with blue & white glaze on the floral / foliage carved decoration & stripes.
Sandy Vitarelli worked mostly in Hawaii and worked with local foliage to create her glazes. This is the first of this form I have seen. Most of her work was vases, ginger jars, bowls & plates.
7-1/4" tall & including handle 7" wide. Glazed interior.
Weighs 2lbs 10oz before packaging
