Sargent #722C Autoset Jointer
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. New rosewood custom made furniture. The plane has been restored with some remanence of very light pitting with nothing that will hinder performance and is not very noticeable. . . . The Sargent Autosets are harder to find than their Stanley counterparts. They make exceptional users and are great collector items. . Interesting Note: The patents for the Sargent Auto-Set planes, Patent #1,124,325 by Albert A. Page on Jan 12, 1915, predates Stanley's patents for their Gage brand planes which was Patent 1,331,280 dated Feb 17 1920. . Length 22” Cutter width 2 3/8” Weight 5 lbs 13 ozs Type: Jointer . . (My #722-021923-4)
