Unmarked small block plane similar in size & shape to a Stanley 101.  This plane has been refinished with 3 coats of real japanning - not paint - and baked for a glossy, durable finish.  I've never seen a plane like this with the extra casting material to support your finger on the side of the plane.  Only apology is the casting has a small piece chipped off underneath the iron as shown in the photos.

We're just about to release our video on planes for rough work and we have lots of great smoothers and lots of planes that have ALREADY been converted for rough work. 

BUT we really need more affordable jack planes for people to make into fore planes. I know many sellers have no 5 planes by Stanley and other makers. You can also add transitional and even wooden planes to the category "Make these 5s into fores". It's right there on the homepage.
