Details

Up for sale is a Stanley #3 type 6 hand plane. It has the 3 patent dates on the lateral adj. lever and the Bailey info inside the brass adj. nut. It has the J logo iron, left over from an earlier type. The tote and knob are in great shape and show their original dark rosewood patina and with no cracks or chips. The knob has bead around the base seen on earlier types. The mouth is in good shape with no cracks. There is a very small chip at the toe on the bottom and does not go all the way through, see in pictures. All in all a nice 140 year old plane. Alaska and Hawaii message me to work out shipping cost
