Up for sale is a nice Stanley #4 type 7 hand plane. It has the 3 patent dates on the lateral adj. lever and no Bailey info on the brass adj. nut. This plane has a smooth sole in good shape and nice clean mouth. It has a T logo on the iron and good length on it. The knob is in great shape. The tote has had the horn shaved off and has a nicely repaired crack and it is solid . Alaska and Hawaii message me to work out shipping cost.

    With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
