Up for sale is a super nice Stanley #4 type 8 hand plane. This one has the smooth sole and it is flat and no chips or major scratches. The mouth is clean with no cracks or chips. The tote and knob are in perfect shape with no cracks or chips and show their original patina. This plane has the B casting marks on the frog and bed. The lever cap has the Stanley nib on it often seen on the type 7 where the S is missing. The blade is a new old stock Victory iron made by Stanley. Stanley made these Victory irons in the 30's for awhile and again in the early 50's for a time. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada message me to work out shipping cost.
