Up for sale is a nice Stanley #4 type 11 hand plane. This one has the smooth sole. I have re-Japanned the plane using Stanley's factory recipe and baked it on low heat 5 times to set the Japanning. I have also sharpened the iron going through the grits up to 8000. I have lap the sole and it is flat. The rosewood tote and knob are crack free and show their original patina. The plane does have the BB logo replacment iron. It also has a nice Shelton lever cap that fit perfectly.
