UP for sale is a really nice Stanley #5 Type 11 Hand Plane. It has the corrugated sole. It has the 3 patent dates behind the frog and small 1" Brass adj. nut. I have done a partial restoration on it. I have done the sides, lapped the sole and sharpened the iron going through the grits up to 8000 and it is super sharp. The Japanning was very spotty on it so I removed it and re-Japanned it using Stanley's original factory recipe and baking it 5 times, I think it looks great. The rosewood tote and knob are in great shape and have no cracks or chips. The iron has the V logo and it is very sharp not worn or pitted like you see a lot. The iron has good length and is sharp.
