Up for sale is a nice Stanley #5 type 7 hand plane. This one has the smooth sole and it is flat with no cracks or chips. The mouth is clean with no cracks or chips. The Japanning is 98% there with just a little loss on the heel. The tote and knob are nice with no cracks or chips. The knob might be a replacement . The iron has the AA logo and is a replacement. Nice 125 year old plane and ready to go to work in your shop. Alaska, Hawaii and Canada message me to work out shipping cost.

With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
