Stanley Defiance jack plane. Similar 2" wide iron and 14" length to a Stanley Bailey jack. Clean, sharp and ready to work. Iron has some camber to it so ready for rougher work or as a scrub. Brass adjuster. Brass barrel nuts and posts for the hardwood knob and tote. Cast adjustment yoke like the Baileys. I redid the black lacquer on the knob. Filed flat the mating surfaces between the frog and body. Probably made between the late 1940's and early 1950's.
See the pictures. Paint is good - some missing on the inside of the cheeks in the back. Not sure if the "hammered finish" paint on the chip breaker and lever cap is original or not.
Happy to answer questions.

Long time hobby woodworker. Most of that has been as a power tool user but in the last several years I've taken up hand tools and love it. Also found that I really like putting old iron back into service.
