Stanley Handyman No. 4 Size

This hand plane was intended as Stanley’s “budget” line of planes. As a result some features found on the regular Stanley planes have been removed to improve cost. Such as the lack of a frog adjustment screw and painted handles. This plane has one missing part, the front knob is missing its steel barrel nut. I replaced it with an acorn dome nut for comfort and to keep cost down.

This makes it great for customizing! There will be no tears shed if you want to make modifications to this plane and will make for a fantastic scrub plane.
