Up for sale is a classic Stanley No. 4 Type 11 Smoothing Plane, manufactured between 1910 and 1918. This plane is a fine example from the golden era of Stanley toolmaking, known for its excellent manufacturing quality and performance.  Only apology is the lever cap has a minor chip as shown in the photos.  Iron is in good shape and will need a fresh sharpening.

BUT we really need more affordable jack planes for people to make into fore planes. I know many sellers have no 5 planes by Stanley and other makers. You can also add transitional and even wooden planes to the category "Make these 5s into fores". It's right there on the homepage.
