Stunning Black and Gold Cased Glass Footed Plate, Handblown Glass, Hand-painted Active

An appraiser evaluated this remarkable plate as cased glass. The clear glass was handblown before the black glass was added. It is similar to flashed glass except the layers of glass are thicker. The gold design is incredibly detailed. Other than the typical vintage wear on the rim, this footed plate is in great condition. See photos for measurements and condition.
