Stanley #5 Jack Plane type 4 (check photos to make sure I am correct) 1874-1888 Pre Lateral. Rough and needs restoration or for parts, but I think this could be made into a user, if you wanted to. My plan was to make a shooting plane from it, no lateral adjuster, means I won't knock it out of adjustment. But that will never happen, time to let some stuff go to someone that will use it, or at least enjoy it. Knob and tote are trashed ( did not need for shooting plane) Iron is a Q trademark (1891-1904) from a type 6-9 Maybe I should had taken the iron and put on the type 6 or 7 I also have listed, oh well....

Selling since November 2024
Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
