This little cottage style crewel is gorgeous! It portrays a little cottage in the background with a stone wall with cascading flowers. Gorgeous blue tones are matched by the strip on the mat. It is held together with nails indicating it was made before the 40's but I never opened it up to find a signature or date. Two nails are missing on the back so it will need a little love to keep the art secure.
