This vintage brooch is absolutely insane! To really appreciate this piece you have to understand the time period. So first …a little background and quick history lesson!
The Aesthetic Movement, a late Victorian art movement, prioritized beauty and art for art's sake, and rejected ridged formality. This was often expressed through intricate, nature-inspired, and whimsical designs— evident in the varied charms and overall decorative nature of this piece.
This stunning brooch features a cats eye colored stone at the top and 9 charm dangles. some splintering off into two or three chains of charms. you really have to see it to believe it! This chunky guy measures 3 inches wide and 4.5 inches long.
