This is a vintage planter, adorned with two little birds! Made in Japan during the late 1950s, for Ucagco, this large indoor planter was designed to be a show stopper! The pedestaled "stump" is quite unusual, and the generous gold gilding is eye catching. The sunny yellow of the birds is so cheerful! Condition: This planter is in Very Good shape! There is a small hairline on the back, but it's quite hard to spot and it doesn't affect the function of the piece. There are no chips and no other flaws that I could find. The gilding is still bright and shiny all over! Size: The piece measures about 8" across, is 5¼" wide, and stands just over 6" tall. The actual planter portion is curved, and is about 2¼" from the deepest point to the lowest dip on the side. Quite a nice size for an indoor planter!
