Vintage Black Carved Bakelite Bangle Bracelet 2.5 opening

Tested positive using the odor released when thumb rubbing area method, no seam, heavier than other early plastics. Although simichrome polish & 409 cleaner are commonly used to show a positive test for most or all Bakelite pieces, Black Bakelite will not. This has to do with the piece being heavily dyed w/ a thick pigment and will not create a chemical reaction when in contact, causing the testing product of choice to turn yellow.
