Vintage Ceramic Our Lady Of Knock Statue Green Shamrock Detail Religious Decor

This beautiful porcelain statue by Malco is of Our Lady Of Knock and features shamrocks on the front of her gown. According to an article by Father Rich Tomkosky in Proclaim! (a Catholic publication), "August 21 is the anniversary of the Blessed Virgin Mary's apparition at a small village church in Knock, Ireland, in 1879. Known as Our Lady of Knock, it is a major Marian apparition approved by the Church and the one dearest to the Irish people." Since the piece was previously owned (see tag), it is not know if the piece has been blessed. Like New Condition: no signs of wear. Measurements: 7 1/2" tall, base is 2 1/2" in diameter.
