This is a vintage soap dish, with a very stylish floral pattern! Made in Japan during the late 1960s, for the Seymour Mann China Company, this little porcelain pedestal was decorated with cheerfully colored flowers. Flower power bathrooms, mod girl powder rooms... hippie art kitchens(?). For any room that needs it, your soap dish wish has come true! Condition: This dish is in Excellent shape. There are no chips, cracks, or any other damage that I could find. The flower decal is still nice and bright, without any serious scratching or fading. I did find one small divot on the edge of the dish, but it is just a minor manufacturing flaw that was glazed over. The flower decal is a little off center, and I bet now that I've said it, you won't be able to unsee it. However, let us pretend we didn't notice! Size: The dish measures just over 5" long, is about 3½" across, and stands just over 1½" tall. It fits a standard commercial soap bar, or you can probably nestle a few smaller decorative soaps together on it!
